Wawasee High School

The varsity football team lost to NorthWood high school Friday night in the 2025 NLC opener. The Warriors scored first after junior Kaden Andrew forced a fumble on an opening drive strip sack which sophomore Dirks Miller picked up and ran into the endzone. Wawasee carried a 7-6 lead late into the 2nd quarter before NorthWood found the endzone with :39 seconds left in the 1st half. After a successful 2-pt conversion, the Panthers took a 14-7 lead into halftime. NorthWood found the endzone 3 more times in the second half. The Warriors will travel to Warsaw High School next Friday, 9/12, to take on the Tigers. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
