Despite the loss, Wawasee showed impressive offensive power, recording 19 shots on goal compared to Central Noble’s 12. The lone goal for Wawasee came in the second half, when Karlee Clevenger found the back of the net, assisted by Addi Barger. The duo’s sharp teamwork gave Wawasee fans something to cheer about amid a challenging match. Goalkeeper Sophia Coday made three key saves to help keep her team in the game, but Central Noble’s attack proved too much, as they capitalized on their chances to secure the win. Wawasee’s aggressive play kept the pressure on Central Noble throughout the match, outshooting their opponents but unable to convert more opportunities into goals.
